Tehran, Oct 4, IRNA � Head of Aerospace Research Center Fathollah Ommi said Iran is among world ten top countries in terms of both possessing aerospace techology and presence.


The official made the remarks while talking to IRNA on Tuesday on the occasion of the World Space Week which focuses on the motto of 'Remote Sensing and Empowering the Future'.

Based on the resolution approved in 1999 in UN General Assembly, October 4-10 was named the World Space Week to commemorate the launch of the first human-made satellite in the world.

On Iran's condition in using space technology, he said that the country has been using this technology to the maximum level but it is not still enough.
