TEHRAN, Oct 04 (Shana) Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh says Iran-Germany relations have gained good progress after implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the ties will be completed with the banking support.
Speaking to German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel in Tehran on Monday, Zanganeh said relations with big German companies, disrupted due to sanctions, will be resumed.
He said lengthy talks are underway with German companies and many works are getting done. Good prospect for Iran-Germany relations can be expected in light of banking support by Germany, he added.
Zanganeh said many German companies are now busy active in various sections of the oil industry. "German giants Linde, Siemens and Lurgi are now busy cooperating with Iranian partners."
After the Iran-G5+1 deal in July 2015, German was the first country to send a delegation of 60 members to Iran late July, headed by Gabriel.
