Jahangiri had no meeting with German economy minister: Office

Tehran, Oct 9, IRNA Office of the First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri on Sunday rejected the speculation published by Kayhan Persian newspaper that Jahangiri had a meeting with German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel in Tehran.

Jahangiri's Deputy Mahmoud Naderi made the remarks in a letter to Managing Editor of Kayhan Persian newspaper Hossein Shariatmadari.

In fact, first vice president had no plan to confer with the visiting German vice chancellor and such a meeting was not held, Naderi said.

Jahangiri's office and the website account for the reliable source for dissemination of news on Jahangiri, it is not clear that from which unreliable source, the newspaper obtained the fabricated news, he questioned

Kayhan Persian newspaper on its Thursday edition claimed that Jahangiri received German vice chancellor.
