Iran, Belgium sign MoU on trade co-op

Tehran, Oct 30, IRNA Iran and three economic regions of Belgium inked an MoU in tehran on trade cooperation.

The MoU aims to broaden scientific, technological and infrastructural cooperation between Iranian and Belgian firms.

The MoU has made a framework on developing investment and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Speaking on the sidelines of signing the MoU, Head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Mojtaba Khosrotaj said that the volume of trade exchange between Iran and Belgium is about $200m which is hoped to grow due to the existence of potential in Belgium.

The Belgian economic delegation consists of 200 representatives of 140 firms; it is the first economic mission of Belgium in partnership with all Belgian linguistic groups in Iran in post-JCPOA era.
