Tehran, Oct 31, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif referred to extensive cooperation between Iran and Niger, saying that Iran is ready to develop relations with Niger.
According to the Media Diplomacy Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zarif in a meeting with Niger's Foreign Minister Ibrahim Yacouba underscored reinforcing ties with African countries.
Zarif reiterated that Iran and Niger are capable of having closer diplomatic, economic, regional and international cooperation.
He referred to extensive economic cooperation especially in infrastructure, transportation, banking interactions, agriculture, mines, energy and developing investment, adding that holding the joint commission will pave the way for future cooperation.
Ibrahim Yacouba said his coubtry is ready to open Niger embassy in Tehran and he invited Zarif officially to visit Niger.
