TEHRAN, Nov. 02 (MNA) State Secretary at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Darja Bavda Kuret and Irans Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met and discussed on Wednesday.
Presenting a report on the developments in bilateral ties between the two countries, Darja Bavda Kuret pointed to the recent visit of Slovenian President Borut Pahor to Tehran and signing several MoUs and announced the plans to open the Slovenia's embassy in Tehran.
Zarif also welcomed all-out ties between Iran and Slovenia and underlined the need for the continuation of transactions and consultations between the officials of the two countries.
Exchanging views on regional issues, the need for dispatching humanitarian aid to Syrian and Yemeni people and Irans readiness to help unconditionally in this regard were among topics touched uponduring the meeting.
