MNA Iranian FM Zarif, heading a high ranking economy and trade delegation, arrived in Romanian capital city of Bucharest after his 2 day visit to Lebanon and meetings with the top officials of the Arab country.
Arriving late on Tuesday at the first stop in his three-nation tour of East European countries, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, is slated to meet with senior Romanian officials in Bucharest. President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and Foreign Minister Lazar Comanescu, are the highest officials of the Eastern European country who are scheduled to have separate bilateral meetings with Mr. Zarif on Wednesday. A high delegation of economy and trade activists are accompanying the Iranian top diplomat.
The Chief of Irans diplomacy is visiting Bucharest in response to a three-day trip by his Romanian counterpart earlier in late February and early March 2016.
Iranian Foreign Minister met with Lebanese top officials on Tuesday before leaving for Romania; Slovakia and the Czech Republic are the next two stops of Mr. Zarifs tour of East European countries.
