IRNA � Head of Iranian National Space Center underlined that Tehran and Moscow have good cooperation in the field aerospace.

'Iran and Russia have good capacities for broadening of aerospace cooperation; both countries should use this opportunity,' Manouchehr Manteqi said on Thursday, addressing a specialized aviation conference of Russia in here in Kish Island.

'Our country has many capacities in air industries in terms of manpower, airport equipment products and aircraft repair and maintenance,' he added.

He said that Iran want joint venture in production of 50-seat to 100-seat passenger airplanes and collecting assembling parts.

'In the field of medium and semi-heavy choppers, we are looking for making use of joint capacities with Russia in the production sector,' he added.

He went on to say that designing 150-seat passenger planes has started over past three years and in the construction of airplane engine parts.
