IRNA- Professor Majid Samii, world's leading Iranian neurosurgeon has attended an international neurosurgey symposium in Zagreb, Croatia as the main speaker.
According to IRNA reporter in Zagreb, the Symposium was held on the occasion of celebration of the 30th anniversary of Neurosurgery Department, University Hospital of Zagreb, Croatia.
A handful of Neurosurgeons from all over the world were present. For the inauguration of the Symposium, Ms Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, President of Republic of Croatia sent a video message, elaborating that the acceptance of the invitation of Croatian government by high dignitaries for addressing this event, could result in the rising scientific level of it.
In the same way, Mr. Primorac, former minister of Heath of Croatia and Mrs. Defa Radic representative of Minister of Heath thanked Professor Samiis participation in the event as key speaker and praised his achievements in applying new methods in neurosurgery and motioned how this symposium could improve the Croatias position in the field of neurosurgery.
Also the title of honorary professor of University of Zagreb was awarded to Professor Samii for his great contribution to this university in the field of neurosurgery.
Professor Samii and his son, Amir Samiee, as the main speakers of the International Neurosurgery Symposium in Zagreb-Croatia, explained the latest achievements and new methods elaborated by them in the field of neurosurgery that were of great interest for the audience.
