Iranian GM holds FIDE Womens GP leader at draw
MNA KhademalshariehIran's representative atthe final leg of the FIDE Womens GP drew against Georgia's'sBatsiashvili, the top athlete so far into the event.The sixth round of the final anddecisiveleg ofFIDE Womens Grand Prix 2015/2016 on Friday sawIrans International Master Sarasadat Khademalsharieh tying with the tough Georgian rivalNinoBatsiashvili.

Batsiashvili of Georgia,Khademalsharieh's opponent at round six, enjoys the top position so far at the event which isbeingcompetedatUgra Chess Academy in Russias Khanty Mansiysk.

Also in the fifth round ofFIDE Womens GP held on Thursday November 24, the Iranian chess player ended her game against Georgia'sLela Javakhishvili.

Irans International Master Khademalsharieh hadpreviouslybagged draws in the first, second, fourthrounds of the tournament while she came out victorious in the third round.

The International Master of Iran is scheduled to play a game againstNatalija Pogonina of the host country in Round 7 on the sportive event.

From the 18th of November till the 2nd of December the capital of Ugra is hosting the final and decisive leg of the FIDE Womens Grand Prix 2015/2016.

The players are competingin a round-robintournament of 11 rounds. Time control gives each player 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move from move one.
