IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif at the end of his 2-day visit to India departed New Delhi for Beijing on Sunday evening.
Directors from 45 companies from various industry, mines, trade and agriculture sectors as well as 15 knowledge-based companies and eight banks are accompanying Zarif in his tour to India, China and Japan.
Zarif arrived in India on Saturday morning to attend 'Heart of Asia Conference' with an aim to help Afghanistan.
Participation in the economic meeting of Iran-India, delivering speech in Indian elites' gathering, attending Heart of Asia Conference, meeting with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and discussing issues of mutual interest with Kyrgyzstan foreign minister were among progrms in his India visit schedule.
He also attended dinner banquet by India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday evening.
The two-day conference with an aim to help solve and improve security situation in Afghanistan was held here with participation of representatives from more than 30 member countries and supporters as well as more than 10 international and regional bodies and wrapped up its work on Sunday.
Fourteen member countries of Heart of Asia Conference-Istanbul Process included Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, Russia, India, Azerbaijan Republic, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Australia, the US, Canada, Denmark, Egypt, France, Finland, Germany, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Britain are supportive countries for HAC.
The first conference was held in Istanbul in 2011 and then Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, China and Pakistan hosted the conference respectively from 2012 to 2015.
