IRNA Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled, on Tuesday underlined that his country's policy is based on interaction and dialogue with Iran and it is the country's partner in the region.
The minister, who is to visit Tehran on Wednesday, said in a joint news conference with the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, that he will submit written message of Kuwaiti emir, Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, to President Hassan Rouhani during his visit to the capital.
The message will focus on the framework and pivots of dialogue between Iran and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC), he said.
Kuwaiti foreign minister said Iran and the PGCC are partners of each other in the region and enjoy abundant capacity for bolstering ties and they also share common interests.
Dialogue and interaction will safeguard common interests of Tehran and entity, he said.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister, Khaled Jarallah, announced that Sabah al-Khaled will visit Tehran to hold talks with the Iranian officials on Tehran ties with the PGCC and regional developments.
