FNA- A passenger plane of the Turkish Airlines made an emergency landing in the city of Zahedan Southeastern Iran on Saturday morning, a provincial official announced.
"The Turkish plane took off from Istanbul and it was en route Vietnam, but it had to make an emergency landing in Zahedan city because one of the passengers was not in good health conditions," Hamid Reza Parsa said on Saturday.
He said that before landing the medical team and emergency services officials were present to take care of the patient.
"The patient was transferred to the nearest hospital after medical examination," the official added.
He went on to say that the plane is now at Zahedan International Airport and will fly to Vietnam when the patient feels better and the plane gets the needed permits.
