IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi arrived here on Wednesday.
Talking to IRNA, Araqchi said he would hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Ryabkov during his one-day visit to Moscow.
He added the two sides are to consider the latest situation on implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the process of fullfiling both sides commitments on the deal.
He added the latest US violation of commitments toward JCPOA and the countrys move to impose new sanctions against Iran are among the other topics to be discussed during the meeting.
Ryabkov announced on Monday that the new US sanctions against Iran is regrettable, add that Tehran has not violated JCPOA.
He told reporters in Moscow that launching and testing missiles by Iran is not violation of JCPOA and Resolution 2231.
Ryabkov said Moscow has declared its position to the US side and hopes that Washington will use Russia's recommendatios while developing policies by close review of the contents of the JCPOA and the UN Security Council Resolution 2231.
Russia, China, France and Britain, as four permanent members of the UN Security Council, along with the European Union and Germany have repeatedly underlined that JCPOA, as an international document confirmed by the UNSC is definite and binding.
