IRNA Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Jarollah referred to the message exchanged with Iran on bilateral ties, hoping that conditions will be prepared for normalization of relations between Iran and [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council ([P]GCC).
Talking to reporters on Thursday, he added that there is no dispute between Iran and the [P]GCC, urging both sides to make efforts in line with establishing ties based on mutual interests.
He further noted that Kuwait is hopeful to receive positive response regarding the message sent by the Kuwaiti emir to Tehran to pave the way for ending tensions between Iran and [P]GCC.
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister recently submitted written message of Kuwaiti emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad to President Hassan Rouhani on his visit to Tehran.
He underlined that the message centers on the framework f talks between [P]GCC and Iran.
Kuwaiti foreign minister said that Iran and [P]GCC member states are partners in the region, have common interests, and boast numerous capacities for bolstering ties.
