IRNA President Hassan Rouhani left Tehran for Muscat, Oman, on Wednesday to reinforce regional ties and cooperation.
Rouhani has been invited by Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Said al Said and Emir of Kuwait Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for a one-day tour to Oman and Kuwait.
Official welcoming by Sultan of Oman, holding private meeting and negotiations between both countries high-profile delegations are among the most important plans of the current trip.
Rouhani is scheduled to leave Muscat for Kuwait on Wednesday afternoon.
Some ministers, advisors and representatives of private sector accompany President Rouhani in this trip.
The topics to be discussed during the trip consist of reviewing bilateral relations in state and private sectors and also discussing regional issues.
