IRNA � Managing Director of Iran's Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) Seyed Nureddin Shahnazi Zadeh says oil production from Yadavaran and Azadegan joint fields have exceeded that of Iraq.
Shahnazizadeh told a press conference that total production from joint fields west of Karoon will rise up to 320,000 barrels per day by end of this year.
�If needed, we can raise the eventual production capacity through certain fields in the region up to 360,000 barrels per day. Oil production from non-joint field of Dar Khoein is 160,000 barrels per day. Total production from joint fields west of Karoon and non-joint field of Darkhoein will reach more than 500,000 barrels per day, according to the official.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Shahnazizadeh put in-place oil production from fields west of Karoon at 67 billion barrels.
