IRNA Iraqi Border Guards Commander Lieutenant General Hamed al-Husseini said on Tuesday that bordering relations with Iran is excellent.
In spite of 1,400-kilometer-long border between the two countries there is no problem between the two states, the general said.
He added that there exists friendly relations between border guards commanders of the two countries as well.
Al-Husseini said that recently border forces of the two countries held a joint coast guard maneuver, which was a big success.
The two countries border guard commanders hold meetings regularly, the general added.
He pointed out that illegal passings from borders take place in a limited level, and said, 'We are trying to settle the issue without any hue and cry.'
