IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei urged the country�s officials in charge of agriculture to make efforts to protect the environment.

Natural resources are very important to the country, the Supreme Leader said Wednesday after planting two saplings on the occasion of the Natural Recyclable Resources Week in Iran.

The Natural Recyclable Resources Week started in the country with the National Tree-planting Day on March 5.
