Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi said on Monday that Iran and Australia have good capacity for further expansion of economic cooperation, IRNA news agency reported.
Speaking to Australian Ambassador to Tehran, Marc Innes-Brown to bid farewell at the end of the ambassador?s term, Salehi hoped for promotion of bilateral ties using the favorable capacities available for economic cooperation.
He noted that mutual capacities, especially in the commercial and economic sectors, serve as a good ground for expansion of economic cooperation.
He thanked Brown for his efforts for expansion of bilateral ties during his tenure.
