IRNA -- Industry, Mining and Trade minister announced on Wednesday that his ministry is preparing a list of goods produced in Iran to the extent that meets or exceeds the country's needs, in order that their imports will be curbed.
The list will be completed soon, and submitted to the government for veryfiying, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said on the sidelines of the administration meeting.
He added that some promising indications from figures, data and visits to industrial complexes showed that the industry sector was thriving.
Supreme Leaders emphasis on production, employment and combating drug trafficking has made entrepreneurs and producers more hopeful', the minister added while referring to the increase in peoples eagerness on using Iranian goods and the higher quality of such products.
Expressing hope that this year, like the previous one, the industry sector will witness a satisfactory growth, Nematzadeh added that the production imporvement plan, which was implemented by allocating some financial resources to small and middle-sized industries, would be pursued this year.
