IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left the Afghan capital for Tehran on Sunday afternoon at the end of a one-day visit to the country.
During his short stay in Kabul, the foreign minister met with top-ranking Afghan officials, including President Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah, Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani, National Security Adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar and former president Hamid Karzai.
In a press conference after their meeting, the Iranian and Afghan foreign ministers said their talks focused on fighting drug trafficking, economic cooperation, transit routes, the issue of immigrants and joint fight against terrorism without dividing it into good and bad terrorism.
