On Sunday, a representative from India landed in the first position of the chart at the end of womens blitz event in the southwestern Chinese city of Chengdu.
Irans 20-year-old international master and female grandmaster ended her campaign with 7.5 points and finished in second place, the Chess Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran reported.
The 2017 Asian Individual Championship (Men and Women) kicked off on May 11 in China, and will wrap up on May 22.
The sports event has brought together tens of chess players from various Asian countries, including China, India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
