IRNA Irans Embassy in London in a statement on Tuesday condemned deadly terror act in Manchester and sympathizsed with the families of the victims.


As a victim of terrorism, Iran feels well the pain suffered by the people of Manchester, read the statement.

It also highlighted Irans call for creating a global front against terrorism without dividing terrorists into good or bad terrorists.

At least 22 people, including a number of children, were killed and 59 wounded when a suicide bomber attacked a concert in the British city of Manchester on Monday evening.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman on Tuesday condemned the terrorist attack, affirming that all terrorist attacks, irrespective of where they happen, have the same ideological root.

Sympathizing with the victims families of the Manchester attack, Bahram Qasemi added that Iran believed terrorist attacks in Iran's Mirjaveh and Britain's Manchester both are rooted in the same ideology.

The latest terrorist incident in Iran happened on April 26 when 9 Iranian border guards were martyred by terrorists near Iran's border with Pakistan in southeastern province of Sistan-Balouchestan while patrolling at the zero border point.
