Egypt delegation talks Syria with Iranian leaders
Irans state TV is reporting an Egyptian presidential delegation has discussed the Syrian crisis with the leaders of Iran, the key regional ally of Syrias President Bashar Assad. The report said Egyptian presidential adviser for foreign affairs Essam Haddad met Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who called for a quick settlement of the crisis based on talk and understanding.

 
Iran will increase gas exports to Turkey: Iranian oil minister
Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi says Irans natural gas exports to Turkey will increase following the establishment of a planned joint pipeline. A major pipeline coming from Irans southwestern city of Ahvaz has been partially established and it is planned to be completed with the participation of Turkish private companies in order to boost Irans gas exports to Turkey, Qasemi said on the sidelines of his Sunday meeting with Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz in Tehran.

 
Iran, India to hold joint economic commission: Iranian envoy
Iranian Ambassador to India Gholamreza Ansari says Tehran and New Delhi plan to hold a joint economic commission next week. The Iranian envoy said on Sunday that the joint economic commission would be held in Irans capital, Tehran.

 
Quake jolts southern Iran
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale jolted the town of Bandar Chark in Hormozgan province, Southern Iran, on Sunday. The Seismological center of Hormozgan province affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the quake at 16:41 hours local time (1211 GMT).

 
Iran to unveil indigenous S-300 missiles: Army cmdr.
A senior official of Iran Army says the country will unveil an indigenous Bavar-373 missile defense system, which is similar to the Russian S-300, during the next Iranian calendar year which begins March 21, 2014.
