MNA Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania Affairs, Ebrahim Rahimpour, told his Chinese counterpart, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming, that Irans policy is to strengthen and develop strategic relations with China.
It is necessary to broaden bilateral ties of Iran and China in all areas of economy, politics, culture, and security, said Ebrahim Rahimpour on Thursday while meeting with his Chinese counterpartZhang Ming in Beijing.
The Iranian diplomat called for drafting a four-year plan of Iran-China relations in the second term of President Rouhanis presidency, considering the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop and enhance strategic relations with China.
The Chinese diplomat also in this meeting hailed Irans position in the politics of the world and asserted that the Islamic Republic of Iran is of high respect in Chinese foreign policy and China takes Iran as its strategic and important partner in Asia.
Mr. Zhang Ming highlighted that the industrial structures in the two countries, especially in car manufacturing, heavy industries, nuclear energy, and transportation are complementary and for the same reason the cooperation between the two countries should be developed.
The banking problems between the two countries are because of technical problems and will be soon removed, reassured the Chinese diplomat.
