IRNA - Adviser to the Pakistan Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz says Islamabad does not want make Iran unhappy with Pakistan at any cost, local media reported.
Aziz made these remarks while briefing the Senate standing committee on foreign affairs on Pakistan-Iran ties.
He added that Pakistan is trying to strengthen its ties with Iran. The official pointed out that Pakistans participation in Saudi-led military alliance will not be at the cost of Iran.
Members of the committee while giving their views, urged the government to make its foreign policy towards Iran more effective and said that Pakistan should not take sides on international issues.
