IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif explored avenues for promoting mutual cooperation, especially in parliamentary field, in a meeting with the Speaker of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Laura Boldrini.
During the meeting, both officials also discussed regional developments and underlined settlement of disputes through dialogue, migration crisis and fighting terrorism and extremism.
Zarif invited Boldrini to visit Tehran in future and called for enacting agreement to avoid double taxation by the Italian parliament which has earlier been signed by the two governments.
Zarif arrived in Rome from Berlin on Wednesday morning. He met with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni on key regional and international issues and bilateral relations.
