IRNA - Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani on Thursday said Tehran is ready to utilize its capacities to expand relations with South Korea.
Talking to reporters in Seoul, he said that Iran calls for holding dialogue between the two Koreas.
He added Iran is ready to help settlement of disputes between the two Koreas.
Larijani reiterated that military measures would led to military confrontation between the two countries, calling for paving the ground for holding political negotiations.
He added peaceful dispute settlement is Irans fundamental principles of foreign policy.
Referring to his recent meeting with several senior South Korean officials, he added the two sides are keen on cementing all-out relations.
Larijani arrived in Seoul on Monday (June 26) to attend the second meeting of Speakers of Eurasian countries.
Larijani is in South Korea to attend the second meeting of Speakers of Eurasian countries.
Some parliament members are accompanying Larijani during his visit to South Korea.
