Iranian Armys Ground Forces to test new indigenous missiles: Cmdr.

A senior Iranian commander says the Ground Forces of Irans Army will test-fire new indigenous missiles in upcoming military exercises in central Iran. The second-in-command of the Armys Ground Forces Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari said on Wednesday that the new domestically developed missiles will be launched in the week-long drill due to be held in Isfahan Province in June.

Iran-Turkey ties strategic: Iran Foreign Ministry spokesman

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast has described Iran-Turkey relations as strategic, saying the maintenance of mutual ties and cooperation contributes to the security of the region.

Iranian Navys 25th Fleet to dock at Omani port of Salaleh: Cmdr.

Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari says the Navys 25th Fleet of warships will dock at Salalah port in Oman soon. Currently, the Navys [25th] Fleet of warships, comprised of Alborz destroyer and Lark logistics warship, is at the entrance of Bab el-Mandeb Strait, the top commander said on Wednesday.

 

Ryabkov calls for speeding up convention of round of talks between Iran, p5+1
Russia called on Tuesday for speeding up the convention of the round of talks between Iran and the p5+1 over Tehran's nuclear program. (ITAR-TASS) News Agency Quoted the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov as saying that Moscow was currently working to find a suitable timing for convening another round of talks between the two sides.


 

Egypt: Iran cancels visa requirements for Egyptians

The Iranian government approved on Tuesday a draft resolution to cancel visa requirements for Egyptian tourists, reported an Iranian news agency.

Egyptians are allowed to stay for a 20- day visit in Iran, according to Feras news agency.
