Managing Director of Iranian National Foundation of Computer Games Behrouz Minaei reiterated that the three Iranian islands located in Persian Gulf are inseparable part of Iran, adding that experts of the country have designed and produced computer games for strategic management and protection of the three islands.
"Producing computer games with the theme of Persian Gulf has been seriously highlighted since the first round of Persian Gulf festival," he said.
The newly-made computer game titled 'Mir Mohanna', which has been named after an Iranian champion of war who liberated Khark Island, has been prepared in 2000 copies.
Some other computer games have been produced during the previous rounds of festival, one of which is about another Iranian island 'Abu Musa'.
International documents clearly show that the three islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa which were historically owned by Iran, temporarily fell to British control in 1903. The islands were returned to Iran based on an agreement in 1971 before the UAE was born.
Iran has repeatedly declared that its ownership of the three islands is unquestionable.
Under international law, no state can defy any agreement, which came into being before its establishment.
Yet, the UAE continues to make territorial claims against the Islamic Republic despite historical evidence and international regulations.
