�IRNA � Cultural Deputy of Iran�s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHTO) said on Tuesday that common threads of Iran and Azerbaijan can result in constant expansion of tourism between the two countries.


Referring to good cultural cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan, Mohammad Hossein Hashemi said, �After the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, more than 30 cultural agreements have been signed between Iran and Azerbaijan.�

Hashemi said that Azerbaijan Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev Mursal oglu and 60 prominent Azeri artists arrived in Iran on Monday and will be in Iran for six days.

The Azerbaijani minister has already had a meeting with Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi Amiri.
