IRNA -- Pakistan welcomed Irans Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Khameneis recent statement in which he urged support for the people of Kashmir.
Foreign ministry spokesperson Nafees Zakariya said: Pakistan welcomes Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei's recent statement in which he urged the Muslims worldwide to support the oppressed people of Kashmir.
The spokesperson said that entire Muslim Ummah is concerned about the situation in Kashmir.
The Supreme Leader in a recent meeting with heads and officials of Iran's Judiciary had said Irans Judiciary should enter international issues such as the sanctions, US confiscations of property, terrorism, the support for oppressed personalities like Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky (Nigerian Shiite leader) or Muslims of Myanmar and Kashmir, and should express its firm support or opposition in order to be reflected globally.
