MNA Deputy science minister, while reporting on signing a cooperation agreement between 20 domestic and 22 European universities, said cooperation will continue in area of higher education.
Hossein Salar Amoli, Irans Deputy Minister of Science for International Affairs, referred to recent arrival of the largest Science and Technology Delegation of the European Union in Tehran adding a meeting with the visiting group investigated venues for expansion of scientific and educational cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and members of the European Union.
Also, Also, representatives of 22 European universities and about 20 domestic universities signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) on possibility of conducting joint projects and exchange of professors and students, which, in case of approval, will be financed jointly by the European Union and Iran, he added.
Deputy Iranian science minister went on to note that the European Union thinks very highly of Iranian universities given their excellent academic quality and also Irans good security inside the region.
Furthermore, the European sides tend to work with strong countries and these collaborations will be pursued in the field of higher education.
