IRNA Iran Supreme Leader's Representative in Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs Hojjatoleslam Ali Qazi Asgar said on Thursday that Saudi officials during bilateral talks have repeatedly declared that they will fulfill their commitments and determined to maintain dignity and security of Iranian Hajj pilgrims during the Hajj ritual ceremony.

In the recent visit by Irans head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization to Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Hajj minister and other officials in the country reassured the Iranian officials that they will fulfill all their commitments regarding preparing everything needed for the Iranian pilgrims to perform Hajj rituals, Qazi Asgar said.

He strongly rejected allegations pertaining to lack of commitment by some Saudi officials to provide safety of the Iranian pilgrims and called recent hue and cry over the issue baseless and result of poisonous propaganda.

Saudi officials and mainly the Hajj minister in the country, reassured the Iranian delegation that new political changes in Saudi Arabia has nothing to do with Iranian pilgrims, he said.
