Iran, India sign four MoUs to expand cooperation
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi and his Indian counterpart Salman Khurshid have signed four Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) to expand cooperation between the two countries.
The MoUs were signed during the 17th meeting of Iran-India Joint Economic Commission which is being held in the Iranian capital Tehran on May 3-5.

Describing Iran as one of Indias biggest partners, Khurshid said the joint economic commission was an opportunity to expand bilateral relations particularly in the economic and industrial fields.

Referring to the two countries trade and economic relations and Indias need for Iranian oil, Khurshid expressed hope that the volume of bilateral commercial trade would increase by increasing the volume of export and imports.

During his stay in Iran, the Indian External Affairs Minister will also inaugurate the Indian Culture Centre in Tehran and hold talks with the Indian community.
