Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Sunday that there exist enormous potential for economic cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan in different fields, IRNA news agency reported.
Salehi made the remarks in a meeting with Tajik deputy foreign minister for Asia-African Affairs Nizamalddin Zahav.
Relations between the two countries is very satisfactory, Salehi said.
The Tajik official, for his part, thanked Iran for its supports to Tajikistan and voiced his country's willingness to broaden economic cooperation.
Iranian companies have the opportunity to invest in the Tajik development projects, he said.
