MNA Hassan Yazdani won the gold medal of men's freestyle 86kg at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in Paris, to become the first man grabbing gold in the Iranian wrestling caravan.
Iran's Hassan Yazdani Charati, the Rio 2016 gold medallist at 74kg, managed to reach final with four consecutive victories with his powerful opponents.
Yazdani faced on Friday's final match with Slovakian rival Boris Makojev and won the world championship title with a 10-0 victory.
One of the remarkable points in the final match was that Yazdani managed to defeat his opponent in a stormy game of about 2 minutes in the first round.
Boris Makojev, a Russian who wrestles for Slovakia, achieved silver, while Vladislav Valiev from Russia and J'den Cox from the United Stated shared the bronze medal at the same weight class.
The 2017 World Wrestling Championships kicked off in Paris, France, on August 20 and will wrap up on Aaugust 28.
