Kushner discussed moving US embassy to Jerusalem with Netanyahu: report
The Hill- White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and other top Trump administration officials spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, the Times of Israel reported Sunday.

Kushner met with Netanyahu on Thursday as part of a trip to the region to discuss peace between Israel and Palestine.

Moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was brought up by both sides as part of a productive broad conversation about a number of issues, a source close to the discussions told the website.

Peace envoy Jason Greenblatt and deputy national security adviser Dina Powell also attended the meeting.
Trump had promised during his campaign to move the embassy to Jerusalem, meaning the U.S. would recognize the city as the capital of Israel in what for many would be a controversial move.

However, he signed a waiver in June that will keep the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv for at least six months.
