Kuwait info. min. meets Iranian president

TEHRAN, May 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Information, Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Sabah met Tuesday with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Sheikh Salman, part of other delegations to the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) forum who were meeting Ahmadinejad, said "I would like to convey" greetings of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the current president of ACD Summit, to the Iranian leader.

He said the Amir of Kuwait attached great importance to ACD because it would benefit the Asian people.

Sheikh Salman thanked the Iranian government and people for their reception and hosbitality and preparation for the meeting of the Asian cultural ministers.

He said Kuwait "has long experience in culture which we should share. Culture is the identity we should protect and development through consultation and dialogue between countries of our Asian group."
