IRNA - Chairman of Iran's Expediency Council Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi urged Iraqi officials to think about cultural issues after escaping security crises.
Shahroudi made the remarks Monday in a meeting with secretary-general of the Islamic Dawa Party and a Vice President of Iraq Nouri al-Maliki.
After passing security crises successfully, it is now necessary for Iraqi officials to pay more attention to social, cultural and training issues.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaie said enemies who aimed to impose security crises on Iraq were defeated by Iraqi government, people, army and Popular Mobilization Forces.
The US and the Zionist Regime are attempting to penetrate into Iraq this time through non-governmental institutions to influence elites.
In the meantime, al-Maliki presented a report of Iraqi government's activities in solving problems and facilitating public services to Iraqi people.
He also pointed to focusing on infrastructures and people's needs as Iraq's strategy.
Al-Maliki expressed Iraq's readiness in supporting foreign investments, especially facilitating Iranian economic activists' entrance and paving the way for participation in civil and service projects.
