IRNA � Norwegian Foreign Minister B�rge Brende said that Norway, like other countries, is concerned about decertifying the Iran Deal by US President Donald Trump.

Brende told the Norwegian News Agency (NTB) that Oslo believes the Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), is vital for promoting nuclear disarmament.

Oslo has confidence in reports released by the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA) on Iran's compliance with the agreement, he said.

Referring to the important effect of the JCPOA on nuclear disarmament, he said Norway like other European countries will regret the annulling of the deal.

He also urged all the parties of the Iran nuclear deal to stay committed to it.

US President Donald Trump on 13 October took a new strategy toward Iran and decertified Tehran's commitment to the 2015 landmark nuclear deal.

Trump's approach has been criticized by many countries, international bodies, political communities and world media.

Iran nuclear deal is not a bilateral accord and it belongs to no country and no country is able to terminate it, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said minutes after Trump's speech on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a televised message shortly after Trump's speech said his remarks were nothing but a handful of baseless and empty allegations against the Iranian nation.
