Which team would be ideal forIran is hard tosay. I wish we played Panama and Poland, which are no slouches either, and also the Russian hosts. Facing offwith Spain and Brazil would be a tough call. I hope we will play them inthe second round, he toldSputnik Iran.
He hopes that withplayers likeSardar Azmun, Saeed Ezzat Ezatolahi and Milad Mohammadi, the Iranian squad will manage tomake ininto the final eight.

Reza Shahrudi agreed withhis colleague.
Sardar Azmun, Saeed Ezzat Ezatolahi and Milad Mohammadi who now play inRussia, could prove a big boost toour team. They know the Russian stadiums, the local fans and the Russian climate too, he said.
Commenting onIrans chances ofgetting outof the group stage ofthe2018 World Cup, the head ofthe Iranian Football Federations press service Ali Javadi said that the Iranians would have preferred toplay inGroup A and face offwith Russia.
However, we are inthe Group B and will have todeal withthe best European and African teams.
Our opening game is withMorocco which I think is the best African team you can find these days. The opening game is always the hardest. Portugal is the one ofthe best aroundand Spain won the 2010 World Cup and has a star-studded lineup. These three outfits will be a big challenge forus, butwe still hope that our guys, or sports officials and all our football fans will keep their fingers crossed so that next summer inRussia we are lucky, he said.

It was the best time inmy entire sports career and the most intense and motivating too. It was when I matured asa player and asa person even though I had previously played withthe Polish national team. The games I played inSpartak and atShakhtyor Donetsk were a perfect opportunity forme tohone my skills asa goalie, he toldSputnik Poland.
He said that duringhis life inRussia he had met people fromvarious walks oflife and underall kinds ofcircumstances.
Those were kind and sincere encounters. We talked aboutall kinds ofthings, including history and things that divide people.
When asked if foreign players and fans will feel safe duringnext years World Cup championship inRussia, he said that, all the years he had spent playing inRussia he couldnt recall a single moment when he felt threatened asan athlete or watching a game fromthe stands.
Never once inmy five years inRussia did I witness a potentially dangerous situation which means that security is ona pretty high level there. A country hosting the World Cup will do its utmost toensure top-not security and Russia is no exception here, he emphasized.
