Multiple quakes in Iran's Kerman province injure 18 people

Press TV - Multiple strong earthquakes have hit Iran's southeastern province of Kerman injuring at least 18 people and damaging some 20 houses.

Early on Wednesday, a magnitude 6.0 quake, with the depth of 10 kilometers, hit villages of Hojedk and Ravar. Before that, late on Tuesday, a 5.9-magnitude quake hit the same region with a depth of 56 kilometers.

The incident comes less than a month after over 600 people were killed and thousands more injured in a devastating earthquake that hit western province of Kermanshah.
