SHANA-- A Chinese economic official said China considers investing in Iran's energy sector are pretty significant.
Speaking to Shana, Wang Yanguo, Chairman of the Presidium, Vice President and Secretary General of China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector (CICCPS), said Iran and China can materialize $600b of trade as predicted by the presidents of the two countries.
"The one seatbelt, one road idea can pave this path," he added.
In a 2015 meeting with his Chinese opposite number, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the trade between Iran and China will cross 600 billion dollars within the next 10 years.
He said Chinese corporations are interested in directly investing in Iran's oil industry, expressing optimism that cooperation between the two countries will expand in the future.
