IRNA The UK government has been committed to Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and will implement it completely, British ambassador to Iran said on Tuesday.
Nicholas Hopton made the remarks while addressing the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations meeting in the Iranian capital.
Interaction with Iran is based on JCPOA and supporting nuclear accord is UK position, he said
Commenting on recent unrests in a number of the Iranian cities and the reaction of the British media toward it, the ambassador said that British media are independent of the government and they made their own decisions which are out of the governments control.
The UK government believed that Irans internal affairs are related to the country and freedom of speech and freedom of expression and protest are the rights of people, Hopton added.

In the recent days, Tehran and some of the Iranian major cities witnessed public protests due to the bad economic conditions. In some cases, the protests turned violent.
