IRNA � The first direct flight from Baghdad to Kish Island, Persian Gulf, landed on Friday night, said the managing director of the development of ports and airports of Kish on Saturday.

Near the Iranian New Year's holidays (starting on March 21, 2018) the Kish-Baghdad direct flight started by Iraqi Airline, said Esmaeel Mousavi.

More than 1.7 million Iranian and non-Iranian tourists visit the coral island of Kish annually.

Kish is an island in the northern part of the Persian Gulf with the population of about 40,000.
