IRNA - Tehran's Public and Revolution Courts prosecutor on Monday expressed concern about enemies' psychological war against the Islamic Republic by using cyber space and social networks.
'Enemy and some of its agents manipulate every trivial incident to damage the reputation of officials,' Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said in a local ceremony.
He noted that the enemies use all media tools for information bombardment and to undermine people's faith in officials' function.
US President Donald Trump, via several twitter messages, supported the recent unrest in Iran in December.
Iranians in a number of major cities started to protest against economic situation and shortcomings since December 28, 2017, but the protests turned into violence in some parts due to the provocations orchestrated from outside the country.
