IRGC top commander lauds Shia-Sunni unity in Iran

IRNA - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) hailed the current unity among the Iranian Shia and Sunni people.

'Making unrest in Iran and regions like Sistan and Baluchestan province is the most important goal of the enemies,' Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said in a local ceremony on Tuesday.

He added that Shia and Sunni, altogether are doing their best to protect the country's security and stability.

Commenting on downing of an Israeli warplane by Syria after the repeated violation of this country' territory, the commander said that Syrians did not dare to repel the Zionist regime's aggressions in the past and they have been inspired by Iran's Islamic Revolution.

The IRGC top commander noted that the Lebanese Hezbollah, Yemeni and the Palestinian people have been inspired by Iran's Islamic Revolution to stand against the aggressors powerfully.
