SHANA - Karoon Oil & Gas Production Company (KOGPC) has increased its crude oil production capacity by 135,000 barrels per day in the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21, the company's CEO said.

Mohsen Dehanzadeh said the company is also considering 38 enhanced oil recovery projects with IRR2,000b of credit.

He said the company has realized its enhanced production plans by 102.2% in the current year, saying the company has supplied an average of 1.05 mbd of crude oil since late March.

The official further said that indigenization of 189 strategic items and parts has also been done within KOGPC with an estimated value of IRR 32b.
